Part 1 — The Opportunity
How It Works
DS Night Market runs every Friday through Sunday at Chinatown Central Plaza. As a Vendor Rep, you connect food vendors to the market, walk them through everything, and earn a percentage of what they pay — automatically, every week.
⚠️ Before you do anything — orientation is required
You must complete a quick orientation with Bright, our Vendor Manager, before approaching any vendor. This gives you the knowledge, materials, and authority to represent DS Night Market the right way. Contact Bright first — see the bottom of this page.
1
Get Oriented with Bright
Contact Bright (Vendor Manager) at (323) 540-7763. He will walk you through the market, the policies, and everything you need to represent DS Night Market. This is required before you recruit anyone.
2
Find Food Vendors in Your Network
Think restaurants, home cooks, food trucks, pop-up chefs, caterers — anyone with a food concept looking for foot traffic and a recurring income opportunity. Start with who you already know.
3
Walk Them Through the Market
Explain the location, the entertainment, the crowd, and the pricing. Help them understand what to expect. When they're ready, guide them through the sign-up process. We back you up every step of the way.
4
Collect Your Commission — Automatically
Once a vendor confirms their booth and pays, your 20% is locked in. Every week they stay active, your commission comes in — no extra work needed from you. The more vendors you maintain, the more you make.

💡 Key things to know
- Food vendors only. This role is for recruiting food & beverage vendors — not retail or non-food booths.
- No cap on earnings. Every vendor you recruit and maintain adds to your automatic weekly income.
- You get paid right away — as soon as your vendor confirms and pays their booth.
- 3-day weekly commitment for vendors. Vendors must do all 3 nights (Fri–Sun). Consistency builds their sales and keeps your commission flowing.
- Orientation is required. You must be oriented by Bright before recruiting. This is non-negotiable.
Part 2 — Rules, Pitch & How to Get the Vendor
The Complete
Vendor Rep Guide
Everything you need to pitch DS Night Market confidently, handle vendor questions, and follow the rules that keep the market — and your income — running smoothly.
What to tell vendors — your pitch
📍
Prime Chinatown location — real foot traffic
We operate at Chinatown Central Plaza, 932 Mei Ling Way — close to Downtown LA, accessible by Metro A Line (Chinatown Station), and visible from the street. Vendors get real walk-up customers every single weekend.
🎵
Built-in entertainment brings the crowd
Every night has live programming. Friday: EDM DJs (Leimin Space) · Saturday: Live Music + DJs · Sunday: DJ + Open Mic Karaoke. Entertainment attracts people; people buy food. It's a built-in customer engine vendors can't get anywhere else for this price.
🍜
More vendors = more customers
A diverse food lineup attracts a bigger crowd. We are actively growing. Vendors who join now get in early — they build their customer base as the market expands around them. Tell vendors: the best time to join is before it's packed.
📱
We promote their business for them
DS Night Market runs active promotion on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Joining vendors get organic exposure through our channels — at no extra cost. They don't have to run their own marketing to get discovered at the market.
💰
Winter pricing is active now — best rates ever
Booth prices are discounted from normal rates right now. The 2-Week Promo ($600 for 2 weeks = $100/day) is the lowest price we have ever offered. Push this plan hard. After the promo period, pricing returns to $450/week.
What vendors get — and what they need to know
✅ What DS Night Market Provides
⛺Tent provided. Every food vendor receives a tent — no need to bring their own.
💡Electricity for light use. Power is available for light decorations and small appliances. Heavy usage (grills, large equipment) requires the vendor's own generator.
📍Permanent spot. Vendors who commit to every weekend earn their own dedicated permanent spot over time.
📣Social media promotion across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook — at no extra charge.
📋 Vendor Responsibilities
🏠Take everything home daily. No overnight storage allowed. All belongings, equipment, and supplies must be packed up and taken home after every event day.
🔌Bring your own generator if you use heavy equipment — fryers, large grills, commercial appliances. Light use is covered.
📅Commit to every weekend if you want to secure your spot permanently. Inconsistent vendors are placed on availability basis.

→ Your commission: $90/week per vendor
Rules you must follow
🍜
Food vendors only
This rep program is specifically for food and beverage vendors — any food type is welcome. However, DS Night Market does not allow duplicate food concepts. Before you bring in a vendor, check with Bright to confirm that food type is not already represented at the market.
🎓
Complete orientation before recruiting
You must be oriented by Bright before you approach any vendor. Recruiting without orientation reflects badly on the market and will affect your standing as a rep. No exceptions.
📋
Be honest — never over-promise
Foot traffic varies weekend to weekend based on weather, nearby events, and parking. Tell vendors the truth: the market is actively growing and consistency is how they build their customer base. Vendors who feel misled leave — and your commission goes with them. Honesty keeps vendors long-term.
📄
Walk every vendor through the key policies
Before they sign up, make sure vendors understand: 3-day weekly commitment (Fri–Sun) is required · Setup is 1PM–4PM · Vendors supply all their own equipment (tent, generator, tables, chairs, lighting, signage) · No early teardown · Weekly tagging of @DSNightMarket on social media is required · Booth area must stay clean at all times · No smoking or alcohol inside tents.
🚫
Never collect payments on behalf of the market
All vendor booth payments go through DS Night Market's official payment process only. You never accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, or any payment directly. A booth is not confirmed without official payment. Directing vendors to pay you directly is not allowed and will terminate your rep status.
🪪
Food vendors must have permits — warn them early
Food vendors are required to have valid health permits, fire compliance, handwashing stations, and fire extinguishers. Make sure every food vendor you recruit is aware of this before they apply. Vendors who show up non-compliant can be removed without refund — which hurts them and your relationship with them.
🤝
Maintain the relationship — your job doesn't end at sign-up
Check in with your vendors regularly. Answer their questions. Be their point of contact for anything market-related. Happy, supported vendors stay longer — and the longer they stay, the more you earn, automatically, every single week.
💡 Why this opportunity is real
- DS Night Market is actively growing — more vendors attract more customers, benefiting everyone already in the market.
- The market runs every single weekend — your commission comes in weekly, not just occasionally.
- Vendors who commit build loyal regulars over time — they stay longer, which means your income grows and stabilizes.
- The location — Chinatown Central Plaza — is a destination. People come from across LA. The foot traffic is real.
- There is no cap on how many vendors you recruit. Every active vendor adds to your weekly earnings forever as long as they stay.
